I've come to the conclusion that I, a semi-decent Fortnite player, am forever doomed to the never-ending abyss of failure in the game.  When I call myself decent, I am trying to say that while I'm not GREAT at Fortnite, I'm also not BAD the game either, you get me? If I was to give myself a letter grade to myself as a player, I would give myself like a B- on a good day, and probably a C on a bad day. * Okay if you are reading this then by now you are probably asking yourself why you are even reading this at all. This World Cup will go down in history as one of the most exciting World Cups in history. Filled with goals and legendary moments, these five games stood out from the crowd and kept us on the edge of our seats. These games were all filled with passion and a unpredictable spirit that kept us wanting for more. Japan vs Belgium (3-2) In reality, I was fully planning on missing this game. I didn't really expect much excitement from this match at all. But I was fortunately WRONG. This game was a classic, the Samurai held their ground against Belgium. Their tactics and structure kept Belgium off the ball for most of the game. Japan passed the ball and built up play, and went on a two-goal blitz in four minutes. Once Japan went up 2-0 in the 52nd minute, it seemed almost impossible for them to come back from the deficit. Until Belgium went scored two goals of their own in five minutes. I was unable to watch the Final live today, due to the fact I was in church. Here I am watching a recording of the game, and I'll be reviewing the match as it goes on. It'll be sort of a minute-by-minute review, for those who were not able to watch it like me, or simply want to relive the moment. Minute 1- AAAAND GAME ON, Croatia vs. France. Minute 3- Perisic is vastly underrated. Minute 7- Croatia is playing strong so far they look dangerous. They've arrived to France's defensive third, but have yet to get a clear chance on goal. Impressive start by Croatia, who have struggled in games early on. Minute 14- France is staying back and absorbing Croatia's pressure. Smart tactics or Croatian dominance? Minute 17- GOLLLL France! After thirty days of football action, we're finally here. Plenty of goals, assists, injuries, controversies, and especially plenty of surprises have come and gone during the course of this tournament. With 63 games behind us, there's only one game remaining that will determine the champion. France and Croatia have proven their permanence in this tournament. Croatia finished atop of Group D, winning all three games assuredly: they controlled a speedy Nigeria 2-0, dominated Argentina 3-0, and defeated Iceland 2-1. Nine points and an undefeated record led them to a Ro16 match against Denmark. It took blood, sweat, and tears to come out barely alive in penalties. Croatia faced Russia next, and once again it took penalties to defeat Russia at home. France finished atop a much harder Group C. Yesterday, Cristiano Ronaldo left the football world shaking after his official transfer to Juventus was complete. The rumors spreading online became undoubtedly true, the 33-year old Galactico was sold for a little over 100 million euros. This captured all the headlines across the sports world: "CR7 is trading Madrid for Italy." Crazy enough, this (not so) surprising transfer is oddly familiar to another seismic change just last week... LeBron's move to LA. Now, while I recognize these are obviously two different sports and are different circumstances, the main point stands, they both share the same essence. We've hit the critical stage of the tournament, each country remaining has a strong chance to make the final, and to win it all. Each semifinalist has forged it's own unique path to get here, and each are deserving to be there. Each country has World-Class players and have very competent leadership and management. Here we break down the four team France As I've said for the last billion years, this team doesn't completely convince me yet. Maybe I'm asking too much from them, or I get too caught up nit-picking their faults. But being real here, they're the most talented team in the bunch.  France has gone from its highs and lows, they played a conservative style of football in the group stage. Maybe they were playing it safe in their group, which was arguably the hardest on against Peru, Australia, and Denmark. It's been a little over two days since Colombia's devastating loss against England, and I feel like I still haven't recovered fully from it. As a fan, watching your team try so hard and fall short in such a brutal manner is a HUGE gut punch. After a grueling 120 minutes, watching the win slowly slip away during penalties was not easy to witness. Yesterday, Colombia received a warm welcome back home in Bogota by the country who supported them and believed in them. This generation of Colombian football has been a shining token of pride for such a beautiful country. These players play their hearts out and unite an entire country behind fun and exciting football. This isn't the same team as 2014, a ragtag, gritty yet exciting team led by newcomer "pretty boy" James Rodriguez and "Speedy Gonzalez" Juan Guillermo Cuadrado on the wing.
